Aviation Thriller: Flight For Control

A series of recent airline accidents have been occurring across the nation.

“These recent accidents appear to be due to complacency of known threats… primarily inclement weather and maintenance. Over the preceding twenty-four months we’ve experienced seven major airline accidents, three of which transpired within the previous year… this is the worse home grown disaster our nation has faced in years…”

Nothing is as it appears...

  3. Flight For Control is based on a series of recent airline accidents, and Kathryn Jacobs secretly returns to work as a NTSB investigator to discover the truth... while her twin daughters are away at camp. Her husband, Captain Bill Jacobs, is running for the Presidency of his pilots union, objects to his wife working, and is fighting to save an industry on the brink of disaster. Both are on a mission...

  5. Jason, I think a career with the National Transportation Board would be incredible on the investigation team. But... with the interest of investigating comes the gross. I sat with an investigator on a flight once, and he told me about an accident and how he found a shoe(with foot inside) from a basketball player...size 13. That was the nice part of the conversation. But, wouldn't it be fascinating figuring out why and how they crashed? You will have to read the book!
