Special Month for Aviation

August is a month of Birthdays. And today I want to wish three special people happy birthday. Connected across the miles by a passion of flight. I'm sure they will all kill me because I'm posting old photos. But how much do we change in a year?

Cecilie, Ryan and Alex

These three aviators are my international friends, but more than that they are like family. I wish them all the Happiest Birthday ever. I am so glad to know them and to be part of their lives too.

Today, August 7,  is Cecilie's Happy Birthday. I remember sending her a card about a first beer last year. So that means she's got to be 22 today. But little did I know that in Norway allows that first taste before we do in the US. It's hard to believe another year has gone by. How does time fly? I know how Cecilie's been flying. She's racking up those sky miles.

Tomorrow, August 8, is Ryan's Happy Birthday. Ryan is somewhere in the UK busy working on my website that is going live soon, as we are on the final count down. Click HERE and watch the time click past. And that's what happens to time these days. It flies. And guess what... Ryan was Cecilie's flight instructor at Embry Riddle. It's a small world.

In two weeks, August 24, is Alex's Happy Birthday. I was trying to get Flight For Safety done for him, for his birthday. But that did not work out, as it's still with the editor. Alex, it will be worth the wait... I promise! Good things take time. And you need to keep studying for school. Keep expanding that mind and I will corrupt it in a month.

These three aviator are the future. They are bright, energetic, capable, dedicated, and have so much on the ball... it's going to be fun to watch their careers and lives blossom over the years.
