Monday Motivation: Decide

We are still masters of our fate.
We are still captains of our souls.

Winston Churchill

I had a wonderful time in Florida. The only problem is, it wasn't long enough.

Thank you Katja for the invite. And for Jun and Julia for making the long drive to come and say hello. For Barry for picking me up and the ATC tour. And to all the wonderful people I met along the way. If anyone wants to learn how to live three days in two days... fly from one coast to the next and stay 24 hours. Life is an adventure. Live it.

Remember... you are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul. There is nothing you can't do, as long as you decide to do it. These dedicated young people are working hard, studying, learning, and making ends meet to live their dreams. Dedication is the word. They will all become airline pilots. I have no doubt.

What will you decided to do today?

Enjoy the Journey!

  1. What a perfect picture to end this inspirational post, Karlene. I flashed back on my son when he was that age. SO cute, and so open to the world of opportunity. Thanks for the words that let us know to stay that way.

  2. I'm glad you enjoyed your short, but good visit to Jacksonville. Everything is possible, if we just prioritize and are efficient while executing what we have planned for.

    1. Jun, Thank you for the long drive up to say hello! I know you won't give up. Or... I'll have to come down and refocus you. :) Keep up the great work. Keep in touch with those wonderful people down there too.
