Girls With Wings is pleased to announce that they have developed an additional scholarship for 2012. Traditionally they have given out a Private Pilot Scholarship to help with the cost of flight training while in pursuit of their license. This scholarship was targeted to those women who have soloed but not completed their private pilot course.
Katelyn, the 2010 awardee ready for her check ride!The second scholarship is the Dreams Take Flight Scholarship. This is intended to open the door to the aviation world to someone that would not otherwise have the opportunity. There is no prerequisite flight training required.
The scholarship window is open from now through March 31, 2012.
