Deadheading to Work

Today I won the lottery on my way to work...

I was scheduled to deadhead on the first leg of my journey, and was standing in line at the gate to change my seat. The woman in front of me was trying to get a better seat too. We began talking and she said, "There is a couple who just went to get food. They were going to give me their First Class seat so they could sit together in the back. But I think you should have it for the legroom. I don't care where I sit." And that is exactly what happened.

Wayne Andring gave me his First Class seat so he could sit beside his beautiful bride, Tamara. Gold/Elite has never been so nice! Passengers have never been so nice! The Flight Attendants have never been so nice! What a great way to start my trip.

I had the final 150 pages of my novel that I wanted to read and edit, and was able to finish on the flight, thanks to all the wonderful people in my life today.

Thank you Wayne and Tamara for helping to make my day perfect.

Enjoy the Journey! Today I'm off to Barcelona.
