Hey Grant,
Truth is scarier than fiction.
Yesterday I wrote a post: Medical Fraud in Aviation. Today is a segment of how the FAA can be involved in the corruption. The names and email address are the only fiction in the following email found in the novel, Flight For Truth.

Hey Grant,
I have spent most of the morning mulling over this case. Dr. Wood’s consult is not in her record as yet (but I assume it will get there). Wood for the most part is highly respected in Washington. This case is a time bomb with Mayo versus Wood. It is best decided in Washington. I would just defer her case. Don’t get yourself into the corner by advocating any more than you have for the airman. This is not your fault, the baddies are the Airline who went down this route with the airman. I will have the records you send scanned into her record.
How could an FAA representative recommend
to an AME not to advocate for an airman,
When he believes the airline is the "Baddies"?
When Darby Bradshaw read this email, you could imagine her reaction. What happened next? The real question is--- how can a pilot stand against an airline, a "highly respected" doctor, and the FAA, for a political corporate action that violates safety and all sense of decency? Join Darby in the battle of her life, and her fight for a career she loves with passion!
Truth is scarier than fiction.
