ReplyDeleteBeing Argentine myself and having worked with pilots for over 20 years, to say that I'm shocked is not a bit as near as I feel. The only thing that eases my shock is to know that there are more professional pilots than not and I only pray that the measures taken by the authorities will deter anyone from committing such insanity ever again!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, 20 years ago this would not have been a story. I am glad that the career field has advanced to the point where this is a big deal. However, the union will probably get their job back for them. I am okay with that as well because the lesson will hopefully be learned by everyone.
Rob, so true! There was a time when this was okay. But today's world, they weren't thinking... heck, we can't even take photos in the flight deck. Yep... if they get their jobs back, that's okay. They definitely weren't thinking, but you never know who is behind the cleavage and what they are capable.
