Happy Memorial Day

In memory of all those who gave their lives
for the freedoms that we embrace
To the parents who've lost their children,
and the loved ones that can't be replaced

To the past, the present, and the future
may peace be with us all.
To a vision of one world living together
Live strong, fly straight and never fall.

Enjoy the Journey and never forget...

In memory of the many who gave their lives
In honor of all.

  1. Happy Memorial day! To all of you who have fallen soldiers in your family, or are friends of the fallen heroes, people like myself are forever thankful for their sacrifices.

Just walking around The Arlington National Cemetery yesterday made a big impression on me personally. To know there are some 400 000 people buried there, all with their own unique history, just touched me in such a special way. I really don't have words to explain myself properly.

With a peaceful congrats to everyone on this day!

    1. Cecilie, what a powerful day to be walking in Arlington National Cemetery. I'm sitting here thinking about your comment, that each person has their own unique history. And the passing of each altered history in some manner.
Thank you so much for your comment and enjoy your trip. Hope to see you in Las Vegas!

  3. Karlene, thanks for a beautiful message and post. Just got back from a three day haitus from the computer. It's amazing what I can get done when not online: good times with friends, read and finished my third "Flight For Control" trip, and started back for my second trip of Pat Conroy's "Beach Music" .. I hope your holiday weekend was nice. :-)

    1. Hi Jeremy, three days away... I debating to give it a week sometime. I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was a little crazy with lots of kids, and I caught a cold. Haven't had one of these in many years. Will be laying low for awhile. Have a great week! Thank you for the comment.
