Thank you Alaska Airlines for the flight home from Austin last night. And with any luck I'll be able to catch a flight to ORD this morning. Backup plan SEA/DTW/ORD. That leaves a 30 minute connection in DTW. Backup to the backup plan, SEA/DTW/MKE. And then if DTW doesn't work, Airtran SEA/MKE in the afternoon. Who knows where in the world my journey will take me. But I do know, the adventure continues. With any luck, I'll end up at Oshkosh tonight.
Enjoy the Journey! I am.

Karlene, glad you made it back to SEA. For some reason I thought you were headed to Osh via Austin. I hope that no matter where your connections take you, that you wind up in aviation haven safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteMickey, Minnie, and Elmo all sent their regards from Times Square last night. I will be going back again, this time having gone back into the closet to get my uniform. One has to stand out in that place ;-) it was a most fun evening for sure.
Oh... your evening sounded wonderful. And I'm thinking a uniform with that group is exactly what you need.
DeleteYes...needed to swing through Seattle to pack and sleep in my bed before I head on. Have a great day... life. I'm thinking you are!
Have a great time in Oshkosh. I hope it lives up to your expectations. You are a busy, busy lady! I love that 'This Is Your LIFE' poster. Thank you for posting that!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Linda. Busy yes... but having fun!

Enjoy Oshkosh, Karlene! Journeys are awesome. Mine took me from Berlin via Copenhagen and back to Norway and Oslo on Saturday for the Bruce Springsteen concert. 40 000 people at the concert. That's 0.8% of Norway's population. It's all about the perspective ;-) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh wow... you had a great journey. Okay... I am so jealous. I want to go to Bruce Springsteen. Next time he's in town, let me know and I'll come with you. 40,000 people. Amazing! So glad you had a great time.
DeleteSometimes I have trouble catching my breath when I read about your schedule. I love travel, but I don't think I'd do well trying to keep up with you. Remember, if you ever have a couple of hours layover at DFW, let me know and I'll meet you for coffee.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to catch my breath too. I will definitely let you know. Coffee is exactly what I need. :)
