Royal Ascott

A Bucket List Item has been checked off for my hubby!

 

But more than that... a great time was had by all, and more than likely we'll be coming back. Perhaps with a horse one day. Today we're headed back to Seattle. But the memories will last a lifetime. As will the hat.

      Thank you so much Craig! I brought one, then ended up getting something local. It's all about the hat. :)

    Royal Ascot,wow!
    You look like you are all enjoying the traditional Ascot refreshments!
    I could never afford Ascot in a million years,but I can dream!!
    As I recall it's right on the flight path to Heathrow.
    Did you visit Ascot on 'Ladies Day'?Your hat is extremely fashionable & quite beautiful (as if I knew about such things).
    Your hat is,however,quite conservative compared to some on Ladies Day.Some are truly outrageous & ridiculous.
    Glad you enjoyed your stay.

      Thanks John, We certainly did enjoy it! And this day was the opening of the Queen's race week. The price... I was somewhat shocked. But I suppose it's one of those if you can't afford the hat ... lol. But it was a great bucket list item and so worth it.
