Flying through the weekend...

There are times to slow down and smell the roses
But other times you have to go full speed to do it all!

This weekend was a do it all weekend...

A drive to bend to babysit Miles and Ellis was filled with fun and so much more.

Bubble Baths

Halloween Cookies

Playing outside

Decorating for Halloween

Story Time

While the kids slept I painted and tiled...

We ate lunch at the Bend Airport and watched planes

And we painted our toes red!

There you have it...

This is what grandma pilots do on their days off.

What did you do fun this weekend?

Enjoy the Journey!

    1. Thank you so much Steve. You would have loved the enthusiasm of these two when they saw the planes!!! Plan is to get a plane to fly to their airport. They are 1 mile away from Bend.

  6. Congratulations, Grandma! the world needs a lot more of your kind. What did I do? Mowed some weeds, cut firewood for the '14-'15 season and met with my community board. it was fun and productive. Frankly, a bubble bath and painting my toes red would have been more fun. I'll keep in in mind. (Can't you just picture a 63 YO guy with painted toes??) You are a world-class grandma!!

    1. Lol... Thank you so much for the great comment! And yes I would love to see a 63 guy with painted toes who cuts firewood. You had a busy weekend too. But at the end of the day, the bubble bath is the key.

    1. Thank you John! I do have so pretty cute grandkids. They're all great kids too. An A36 Bonanza took off before I could get a photo... but the V-tail was posing. And this tiling job I gifted to my daughter. But I did tile my kitchen last year. Thank you so much for your comment.
