Karlene, you know I wish I could be there. And I will make it there. And speaking of SEA, I am testing out A330 computer programs for the simulator while I have the time off now as I am also doing the XATL Paris runs on the sim. Not too many good ones out there, but I may have something for you with some pretty damn realistic sounds, but I will let you be the judge of that. I also have some souvenirs for the grandkids from KGRR to send out once I get to the post office.
Hope you're having a great week! Regards from the west side of the Wolverine State....
Oh, Karlene... you're killing me!!! :)) I wish I could be there. Honestly, I think that SOARING is the sexiest kind of flying there is... :) ___________________________________________
Gliding in the Andes... VISUAL overload! Overload for all of the senses, I'm sure.
P.S.
I'm guessing, but Harrison Ford must've instinctively switched to GLIDER PILOT mode, in those final seconds over the golf course?
If you were in that situation, can you say which controls you would reach for, and what quick adjustments would be most likely?
