Brain Games

Do They Work?

“New research shows that brain games work by opening up portals in the brain called critical periods. These are windows that allow for rapid learning and which typically close in early childhood. Combining brain games with exercise has an even greater effect on memory and cognition” (P. Marali Doraiswamy, M.D.)

I joined Lumosity.com and spending 15-20 minutes a day to help expand my mind. Anyone who says they don't have time... I contend, you don't have time not to. Besides, it's a fun mental break from the regular studies. This is part of my PhD survival program. :)

Enjoy the journey,
And keep that mind expanding..
Enjoy the Journey!
