Monday Motivation: YOU CAN...

Focus

"Because achievement is one part rocket science and one part photography. You can focus, but it's not just your camera. it's your character.

Like a rocket engine, focus your energy and ability...by working hard. Evaluate your work--adjust your trajectory.

Envision your goals and focus on them because, like the moon, your dreams are lofty, but it's easy to get distracted, to get off course.

But you can focus.

You can engineer your life for success."  Mark Jones

Mark Jones  is trying to design a poster for kids interested in photography and spark their imagination towards the possibilities in aerospace. What do you think of his photo and his quotes above? He would really appreciate your feedback.

For me, I'm off to Hawaii to put Flight For Control into a screenplay at the Aloha Writers' Retreat. I will be traveling in style, supporting my friends at Hawaiian Airlines, in appreciation of all the free rides. It feels good to have a real ticket.

Enjoy the Journey!

  1. This pic looks perfect to me: focus and make your dream come true even if it's the most difficult and ambitious dream ever. As for the comment, maybe we can add encouragements such as "never give up and keep dreaming". It's usually what astronauts tell me, "keep it up and dream, it's important". And it is. It drives me: I want my dream to come true. I can focus, work hard, adjust my trajectory; but mainly I dream and will make everything come true by hard working and focusing on my dream.
Besides that, the pic and the comment can be meaningfull not only for kids!!! ;-)

    1. Gabrielle, Thank you so much for your comment. I like that. Focus on the dream! That creates clarity and destination. When we know where we are going, we will find a way to get there.

I can hardly wait to see you in that suit!!!

Good luck in Hawaii at the workshop. I hope your movies earns multiple Oscars.

Love the picture and the thoughts. Here is a thought that anyone can use. "A great picture is when hard work meets opportunity."

    1. Yes... a real ticket as in I'm a real person. Tomorrow I'll go find Bill and say hello. Wish you were here. Kathy is taking Bill's class.
