Away From Home

Monday I flew to Austin to spend a couple nights with my Grandson, Carter. He does yoga, spins to make himself dizzy so he can smash his head into things, dances, sings, loves trains, trucks, tractors, planes. He also loves his grandma. :)

While my daughter was having a root canal yesterday, Carter and I went to a St. Patricks Day party with 3 of his best friends. Then after his nap we went to the park. He's 19 months old... and moves full speed every moment when his eyes are not closed. We had a blast! Next month he'll stay with us in Seattle.

This evening I am headed to Nashville to the Women of Aviation Conference. Let me know if you'll be there too! I'm connecting with a lot of people and we'll have a great time. Hope to see you there.

Enjoy the Journey
XO Karlene

  1. Thanks, Karlene. We've seen Carter before and he is a treasure! Any time with him has got to be better than fly those darn airplanes, no mater how much you love them . And yes, there is no greater joy than being Grandma (or Grandpa!!) to a small one. Hugs and best wishes, granny. -C.

    1. Yes... Carter gets to pop on when I come down here. Somehow during nap time I can upload photos, unlike at home. :) YES... No greater joy!

  4. Oh Carter is great and I always love his photos! A definite Kodak moment would be with him and Biscuit together, but I think I remember seeing them both together in one of the Halloween photos dressed up. I am glad you were able to spend time with them!

    1. Thanks Jeremy.. I'm thinking that the 'skunks' were my favorite, too! He's growing up so fast. They always do that.
