I love the answer... why not?

Flying perfectly, or always working toward perfect, is an excellent tool in battling complacency, because if forces focus. And definitely hones your skills.

It was great meeting you yesterday. Thank you so much for the visit! I think the only way to get better is through that critique. I only fly part 91 (private), but I always remember reading years ago, that you have fly some speed (or altitude), so why not make it the right one? I consider this to be professionalism, and although not professional (except when acting as an instructor), I try to fly like one. That way every flight is a challenge to get better, since not flight is ever perfect. I'm compelled to dissect the last flight, critique myself and do better next time. I try to get my students to take the same view, without demanding more than they can give at their individual levels of skill and knowledge.D.B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16311812701887962320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-352377410388410195.post-82260715552637775782013-05-02T04:38:18.591-07:002013-05-02T04:38:18.591-07:00If you fly as perfect as you can, you will end up ...If you fly as perfect as you can, you will end up ther with thr guys at Dryden or much better.
