I am really happy that your studies are coming along and that you are starting training. It is actually getting me to study my flashcards.

People have asked me why I love the 777 because as they think it looks like "just an ordinary plane." The truth is, it is a whole different bird inside based on FBW technology, built with lighter materials, to which you elaborated on posts above. All of this attracted me to it (like love at first flight) when I first read about it in the late 90s. It is truly a technologically advanced plane that came at the right time. And now.. nextGen plans to enhance the plane into the 777-9/X. The love and technology just keep soaring. Welcome back home to Boeing. :DJeremy Carlisle (CaptainAboard.com)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12487827615007165105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-352377410388410195.post-20119372677520486202017-10-10T07:51:09.473-07:002017-10-10T07:51:09.473-07:00Thank you so much Rob! You may miss the A330 for a few early trips, Despite the temporary detour, you've always been a genuine Boeing woman and the world knows it. Your transition training won't be easy, but you already know much of tine details to this wonderful airplane. Most pilots of my experience claim that it is the most pilot-friendly airplane that they have ever flown, but your experience with Boeing and living almost within sight of the Renton plant, make you a Certified Boing Woman. The B777 may have borrowed some FBW technology, but most 777 of my knowledge think it the best flying machine of their careers. pilots claim to fly the world's best airplane, a Pilot's The B777 simply gives the pilot(s) plenty of options.
